Scope

Description

The Home Office Migration & Borders System (which includes Asylum & Human Rights Operations, Border Force, Immigration Enforcement, Visas, Status & Immigration (VSI) and Passports, Citizenship & Civil Registration (PCCR)) is conducting market research to gather information regarding automated translation and transcription technologies to further understand both current and potential future market capabilities.

This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information purposes and does not constitute a Request for proposal, Request for Quotation, or invitation to bid.

The Home Office have identified three distinct but interrelated types of requirements. These include interpretation, translation and transcription.

Engagement process description

This is a request for information regarding automated translation and transcription technologies to further understand both current and potential future market capabilities.

Suppliers interested in taking part in this RFI exercise should contact Laura Bogdanova (Laura.Bogdanova1@homeoffice.gov.uk) for a copy of the Auto-translation and transcription Request for Information document which includes background, supporting information and the RFI questions. A copy of a Home Office signed NDA will also be sent to participating suppliers for them to countersign and to return with their responses to the RFI questions. Supplier responses and NDA should also be returned to Laura Bogdanova (Laura.Bogdanova1@homeoffice.gov.uk) by 17:00 on Friday 31 October 2025.
