Description

Liverpool City Council is seeking providers to deliver disagreement resolution and mediation services in line with its statutory obligations under the Children and Families Act 2014.

These services include:

• Mediation advice, and

• Mediation and disagreement resolution services,

Each service plays a distinct role within the legal framework and aims to support families and young people in resolving disputes related to Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

To ensure impartiality and confidentiality, the services must be delivered independently of the Council. Their purpose is to facilitate early resolution of disputes, helping to avoid formal legal proceedings and reducing the need for appeals to the SEND Tribunal, which can be both time-consuming and costly.

  • £425,000 excluding VAT
  • £510,000 including VAT

Description of possible extension:
