Description
The requirement is to procure a Depot Rail Semi-Automatic Sand Pumping System for Class 398 train sanding examinations.The scope includes supplying, installing, and commissioning a system with 12 delivery points, a screw delivery mechanism, integrated dust suppression to eliminate silica dust exposure, and battery backup for operational reliability. The system will reduce examination times from 68 minutes (53 minutes for examination plus 15 minutes for unit movements) to 25 minutes plus 15 minutes for unit movement, aligning with the depot's 40-minute throughput schedule and 5-day examination cycle for a 36-train fleet, servicing up to 8 trains per night
