Description

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Authority is seeking to award a contract for the provision of HMICFRS Consultancy.

The consultancy support is required in relation to our 'People Improvement Plan' and the cause of concern on prevention activity, specifically Home Fire Safety Visits, in the 2025 HMICFRS report.

It is estimated that 2-4 days per week (on average) between October and December 2025 will be required from a consultant. A further 20 days consultancy may be required between January and March 2026.

Total value (estimated)

  • £120,000 excluding VAT
  • £144,000 including VAT

Options

The right to additional purchases while the contract is valid.

The Authority may require additional but related consultancy support in addition to what has been detailed within the Invitation to Tender.

For the avoidance of doubt, any additional consultancy has been included in the maximum contract value of £120,000.
