To provide clinical services at patients' homes, including the provision of IV therapy, wound management, phlebotomy services & any other appropriate service which are agreed by both organisations.

This Trust is intending to award the contract through Direct Award 'C' to an existing provider.

The contract is for six months, ending March 2026.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by midnight on the 3rd October 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.

There are no conflicts of interest.

The Trust has been working with this company since 2020, when due to COVID there was pressure for bed space and supporting discharge. Initially this arrangement was intended to be a short term solution, however the Trust has continued to work with this company due to the excellent care they offer our patients and due to it being very cost effective to the Trust. Areas considered were patient safety/quality of care/continuity of care, financial suitability, staff provision (nurse led), CQC registration etc...
