The Trust has been working with this company since 2020, when due to COVID there was pressure for bed space and supporting discharge. Initially this arrangement was intended to be a short term solution, however the Trust has continued to work with this company due to the excellent care they offer our patients and due to it being very cost effective to the Trust. Areas considered were patient safety/quality of care/continuity of care, financial suitability, staff provision (nurse led), CQC registration etc...
