Description
Crown Commercial Service (CCS) as the Authority intends to put in place an agreement for the provision of Legal Services for use primarily by the Wider Public Sector and UK public sector bodies. Central Government will be able to use the agreement by exception.
The agreement will replace and bring together specialisms currently available under live agreements:

Engagement process description
Market engagement for RM6374 commenced in January 2025.
The Prior Information Notice (PIN) was issued in January 2025, accompanied by a survey aimed at gauging interest and obtaining market insights from suppliers. The survey remained open until 31st March 2025, during which 93 participants engaged with it, and 48 suppliers completed it.
In February 2025, we extended our engagement efforts through additional surveys directed at suppliers and customers, gathering feedback from a further 20 organisations.
From March to May 2025, the first round of market engagement took place, featuring an open and transparent retrospective analysis of the existing agreements. Following this, conceptual options were presented to both suppliers and customers.Two supplier engagement sessions were conducted on 19th March and 1st April to collect further market insights to inform the agreement's scope. The session on 19th March attracted 72 individual attendees, while the session on 1st April had 68 attendees.
A customer engagement session was held on 28th April to gather additional insights and share the developments regarding the scope of the agreement. This session was attended by 20 individual participants.
A specific session focusing on Costs Lawyer Services took place 1st May attracting 31 individual attendees.
Since February, one to one sessions with suppliers and customers have been conducted to gather further feedback and insights. To date, 26 supplier meetings have taken place, and these sessions will continue until October 2025.
