NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (The Relevant Authority) is intending to award the above contract from 1st October 2025 to 31st March 2027 plus an option to extend by a further 24 months subject to satisfactory performance and in line with NHS North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board(NHS NENC ICB) agreement up to 31 March 2029 to the provider - The Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals Foundation Trust under Direct Award Process C of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 (PSR) on the basis that the relevant authority is of the opinion that, as an existing provider, The Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals Foundation Trust is satisfying the existing contract and is able to satisfy a new contract to a sufficient standard taking into account relevant key criteria and basic selection criteria.
