Scope
Description
Leicester City Council (the Council) are commencing a formal Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise. The purpose of such engagement is to understand the level of market interest and to seek market intelligence on offerings in the market on both commercial off the shelf solutions as well as any innovative proposals from organisations that may have an interest or expertise in this field. The Council is aiming to procure a solution which will deliver and future proof the current functionality and additionally provide flexibility to exploit the use of new technology where this provides benefit to the business, in relation to installation, upgrade and ongoing provision/rental of reliable, low-latency point to point fibre circuits to support Leicester City Council's Traffic & Public Space and Housing CCTV inventory.
As we are at the PME stage, this by is being advertised as an above threshold PME, however the results of the PME will determine the actual value.
