Description
PHW are scoping Mobile units with CT scanning capabilities as part of the NHS Wales Lung Cancer Screening Programme. The mobile units will be regularly relocated to sites across Wales to provide a local scanning capability to residents. The units will require mobile network capability to allow access to the internet and potentially NHS Wales networks. The network must be secure with end-to-end encryption.

Public Health Wales are exploring the market to scope this potential requirement and review indicative pricing to help inform a business case.
Full details of this Pre Market Engagement exercise are available upon request. Documents must be requested by emailing Alexandra.Woodward@wales.nhs.uk. The email subject must state "MOBILE CONNECTIVITY & NETWORKING FOR NHS WALES LUNG CANCER SCREENING". Interested suppliers are encouraged to request the document as soon as possible. The deadline for requesting documents is 12pm on 17th September 2025.
