This is an opportunity for suppliers to express an interest to provide catering services within the recently redeveloped Stephenson Memorial Hall within Chesterfield. The redeveloped Stephenson Memorial Hall will include the Café Bar, centrally relocated within Stephenson Memorial Hall, which will mark both the beginning and end of the visitor journey, providing a unique commercial opportunity for the Café Bar. There is now an opportunity for an experienced catering operator to define the full food and beverage offering. The venue is seeking an operator who can generate a financial return and provide a diverse, inclusive offer at affordable prices for all customers.

Engagement process description

The Council is offering the opportunity for potential suppliers to provide a catering facility within Chesterfield.

There will be an initial expression of interest stage where potential suppliers will be asked to provide a high level of information including past experience within the industry and relevant qualifications they hold.

Suppliers will then be shortlisted to subsequent interview and site visit stages after which a full business proposal will be presented by suppliers. The Council will determine which proposal is the most commercially feasible and attractive.
