Description of risks to contract performance
Due to the nature of the funding that supports the delivery of the woodland creation the Forestry Commission may require some changes to the planting area, species and number of trees and this therefore may result in a subsequent total price change.
Where there is a change in delivery requirements or scope, the prices submitted by the Supplier in their tender shall be applied, for example, if an increase in tree numbers is required, the additional trees will be priced at the unit rate submitted price in the Supplier's tender.
Conflicts assessment prepared/revised
Yes
Procedure
Procedure type
Open procedure
Justification for not publishing a preliminary market engagement notice
A preliminary market engagement notice was not published due to the specification of the requirement being already established and clear. Therefore, it was felt that no additional input from suppliers in the market to help with developing the requirement and approach to the procurement was required prior to publication of the tender notice. The supplier base is already known within the market and relatively static.
