Description

Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) requires a robust solution to detect and prevent academic misconduct, ensuring the integrity of student work. The system must be capable of assessing the originality of submissions by comparing them against a wide range of sources, including online content, academic publications, and previously submitted student papers. It should address emerging challenges such as AI-generated text, contract cheating, copy/paste plagiarism, and collusion, while also supporting draft submissions for formative feedback.

The requirement includes functionality for originality checking, comprehensive reporting, and integration with SHU's existing digital learning environment. Additionally, the solution should provide user support, training resources, and access to a knowledge-sharing community to ensure effective adoption and use across the institution.
