Engagement process description

The purpose of this Preliminary Market Engagement is to seek input from potential suppliers within the market to establish options, understand barriers, risks and potential costs associated with the Staffordshire County Council's ( SCC) need to procure planned care support services in current Extracare facilities in East Staffordshire and Tamworth.

The care delivery would be funded by SCC at the Council's predetermined hourly Extracare rate of £21.74

Currently SCC funded care hours within the schemes are 354 hours per week for the East Staffordshire scheme and 389 hours per week for Tamworth scheme.
