A direct award to Research in Practice to carry out the work will offer the best value for money and maximum impact within the tight timescales required. This is based on an assessment of the unique needs of this project in relation to the supplier's previous experience in this area, their detailed understanding of our policy ambition and the ability to engage well with and take into consideration the varying needs of the sector. Research in Practice are well respected as an independent voice with a proven track record in engaging effectively with a range of stakeholders. As such they are well placed to undertake this work effectively and have demonstrated their ability to be able to start this work in the requied tight timeframe.
