NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) are seeking to commission a North Nottinghamshire Specialist Wheelchair Service for Children, Young People and Adults. The purpose of this advert is to invite the market to respond to a market intelligence exercise.

Considering the significant financial pressures currently faced by Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board, it is imperative that all commissioned services operate within their allocated budgets and demonstrate clear value for money. Providers are expected to work within the defined budget parameters. This market intelligence exercise is intended to ensure that the service specification and the level of activity delivered is appropriately aligned with the financial envelope.

To facilitate this, Providers are invited to complete and submit a short questionnaire to provide feedback on the financial aspects of the Wheelchairs Service. A draft Service Specification detailing the requirements of the service and documents containing an anticipated financial envelope, indicative activity figures and draft eligibility criteria can be found within the attachments area of the project on the Atamis portal. Please note, this is a draft Service Specification which may be subject to change.

To take part in this exercise please access project C384339 - Nottingham & Nottinghamshire ICB Wheelchair Service Market Intelligence Exercise via the Atamis portal: https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome

Please note the deadline for providing this feedback is 12pm on the 4th September 2025. Please note this is a market testing exercise and does not commit the ICB to carry out a procurement process. Current services will remain in place during this period in line with existing contracts and service level agreements.
