Scope

Description

The West of England Mayoral Combined Authority (MCA) intends to procure an open framework for the delivery of Skills Bootcamps in the MCA region with a duration of 3-4 years.

The Skills Bootcamps will focus on various Subject Areas including (but not limited to):

• Agriculture, Horticulture & Animal Care;

• Arts, Media & Publishing;

• Business, Administration & Law;

• Construction, Planning & the Built Environment;

• Digital Technology;

• Education & Training;

• Engineering & Manufacturing Technologies;

• Health, Public Services & Care;

• Leisure, Travel & Tourism;

• Logistics & Transport;

• Preparation for Life & Work;

• Retail & Commercial Enterprise; and

• Science & Mathematics.

Engagement process description

The MCA is developing an open framework to support the delivery of Skills Bootcamps across the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) geographical region.

To help define the structure of the new framework, the MCA is conducting a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise with the market. The aim is to gather market insight, test the market capability to deliver the subject areas required and commercial structure of the proposed framework prior to launching a formal procurement process.

Suppliers wishing to participate in the preliminary market engagement should complete the Request for Information (RFI) Questionnaire, available via the link below, by 12pm Midday on Friday 5th September 2025:
