Engagement process description

Wandle Housing Association (WHA) intends to undertake an open tender process early 2026 for Fire Servicing and Repairs.

This soft market testing process is to help WHA determine the scope of requirements and inform its approach.

Wandle is inviting suppliers to respond to the following questions relating to this requirement:

1) Would the inclusion of solar panels (servicing and repairs of) be of interest to organisations?

2) Would the inclusion of the design of new fire safety systems be attractive to organisations as well as the servicing and installation of them?

3) Would your organisation be able to provide the full scope of requirements including solar panels and design of new fire safety systems? If not, please provide details on what it could not provide.

4) Would a lotted approach e.g. separate lots for the East and West areas of Wandle properties be preferred or would a single requirement incorporating all WHA properties be preferred?

Suppliers are welcome to provide additional comments about this requirement that would encourage them to submit a bid.

Responses should be submitted by email to tinarippingale@ssfh.org.uk by 12 noon on 4 September 2025.

Please state in the email subject line

"WHA Fire Servicing & Repairs Soft Market Testing."

The responses will be treated in confidence and are for information only. They are to help WHA inform its tender approach and to develop its tender documents. Responses, and lack of responses, will not affect bids received and the evaluation of them when the procurement for this goes live.

This notice is not an invitation to tender and does not commit Wandle to a procurement process.
