seven.2.1) Description of the modifications
Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):
The original term of the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) commenced on 26 November 2018 and was initially set to expire on 25 November 2021. This term was subsequently extended by two years, concluding on 30 November 2023.
Following this, the Council approved a further extension of 21 months, from 1 December 2023 to 1 September 2025, through a formal modification process in accordance with applicable procurement regulations.
Subsequently, the Council has authorised an additional extension of the DPS for a period of 19 months, from 1 September 2025 to 31 March 2027, thereby extending the validity of the arrangement for all onboarded providers under the existing DPS framework. summarise to 400 characters

Challenges around transformation and restructuring that is going on within CEC. Several large-scale commissioning projects are taking place at the same time and service requires resources to ensure new contracts are recommissioned to the highest standards.
