Scope

Description

Cyclical Electrical Inspections & Remediations (EICRs)

Curo are looking to appoint two providers to complete cyclical electrical inspections and remediations. This includes but is not limited to;

• Electrical Inspection Testing (EICRs) across all general needs, market rent, choice and commercial offices/shops

• We may on occasion ask for EICRs to be completed in our empty homes or communal areas

• Remedial works identified from the inspection

• Smoke detection updates and/or replacements

The successful service providers will be awarded five-year contracts with no option to extend.

Curo is tendering for the provision of the above requirement. The closing date for receipt of your expression of interest is given in the box below entitled - Date documents can be requested until.

Important information: This tender is being conducted through the Curo supplier portal and all documentation is only available via this portal.

Once you have registered and expressed interest in the project, all applicable documents are normally published to the secure area within 24 hours (via clicking on `My Tenders`). If after this time you have not received your email advising the tender documents have been published to the secure area, then contact the Procurement Team by sending a message through the correspondence function. An email will be sent to the `Publish Email` address supplied at registration when the documents have been published. You will then be able to login to the secure area and download/view the tender documents.

Submissions must be made via the web site. All documents should be uploaded to the website, then be sure to press the Red button "SUBMIT RETURN" (You may need to scroll the screen down to see this button). You will then receive a receipt (print & retain a copy of this receipt and this is your confirmation of your submission). The tender status will then confirm your documents have been submitted.

Engagement process description

Curo conducted the following pre-market engagement prior to the publication of this notice and the Act going live on 24th February 2025.

Virtual meetings were held with numerous providers throughout December 2024. The meetings consisted of a general introduction to Curo including who we are, stock size, architype and tenancy types. We outlined the potential requirements for the new contract, and guidelines for the current contract. The following questions were also asked in each meeting;

1. Do you have local Engineers?

2. Do you have access to a portal and what are the possibilities with this system?

3. Are you able to offer out of hours working such as; Saturdays, Sundays, early morning and late evenings?

4. Do you have CAT B trained Engineers?

5. Are you on any frameworks?
