Toucan, the West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative (WMCPC) (https://toucanwestmids.nhs.uk/) hosted by Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust as Lead Provider have commissioned an Eating Disorder Day Care Service: Standalone unit for children and young people aged 13-18 within the West Midlands, and an Eating Disorder Intensive at Home (ED-ISH) Support Service for children and young people aged 13-18 within the North region of the West Midlands who require intensive mental health treatment to support discharge and step down from hospital.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice, following the publication of FTS Intention to Award Notice 2025/S 000-008680. The contracts for Lot 1a and Lot 2a have been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded using the Competitive Process.

The contract award concluded 29th July 2025 with the contract period being July 2025 until March 2027
The lifetime value of the contract is £2,975,264.72

No reviews were applicable during the standstill period.
There were no declared conflicts or potential conflicts of interest of individuals making the decision.
