The development of Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPA) presents a significant opportunity for NHS Scotland to procure renewable energy solutions in order to meet our sustainability goals in the decarbonisation of our NHSS estate.

To support this transition to renewable energy sources, the Authority has set up a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). This notice will allow suppliers not on the DPS to submit an application to be evaluated to get on the DPS.

Any mini competition will be run direct with suppliers on the DPS via the PCS-Tender system.

Suppliers are advised to allow adequate time for uploading documents and to dispatch the electronic response well in advance of the closing time to avoid any last minute problems.

The Contracting Authority does not intend to include a sub-contract clause as part of community benefits (as per Section 25 of the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014) in this contract for the following reason:

This is the creation of a DPS and will be adding Potential Providers to a Buyers Guide. This process will not be Sub-contracted.
