Description

HSE has a requirement to have a continuous outdoor noise measurement system in place near the explosive testing area and/or close to the site boundary. This is to help monitor noises made on the site, ensure compliance with the Control of Noise at Work Regulations (2005) and to notify when noise limits are exceeded. The equipment must also have a weather station for weather monitoring included. (e.g., air pressure, windspeed, humidity etc.). This will assist in the understanding of how the noise travels in different weather conditions.

The equipment must also come with a software/system suitable to remotely view noise readings and provided notifications of when noise levels are exceeded. It must be calibratable and easily maintained. It also must be fully weatherproof, mountable on buildings/structures and suitable for measuring noise levels up to 155dB cpk.
