Jubilee Field is a well-used open space within the village.

Due to local topography, it is the only flat recreational space in the village. The installation of the circular path is a flagship project for the Parish Council enabling multi-generational all year access to the field. The path will be used for a range of sport and activities; including giving runners a mud free track; children a flat safe surface to learn to ride bikes and scooters; and disabled and elderly residents full access to the field.

Jubilee Field is located in a high risk flood area due to its proximity to River Nene, which borders one side of the field. The Parish Council has researched various surfaces and believes that bonded rubber offers the best solution due to its flood resilience, functionality, low maintenance and long lasting durability.
