To ensure equitable healthcare access for patients with diverse linguistic and communication needs. The contract will cover:

- Spoken language services (face-to-face, telephone, and video interpreting).

- Non-spoken language services (BSL, lip reading, Makaton, etc.).

- Document translation (including Braille and Easy Read formats).

Total value (estimated)

  • £2,150,000 excluding VAT
  • £2,580,000 including VAT

Contract dates (estimated)

  • 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029
  • Possible extension to 31 March 2031
