Description
Derbyshire Dales District Council (the Council) is seeking a supplier(s) to supply Light plant and hand tools.
This contract is being let as two lots: Lot 1 Hand Tools, Lot 2 Light Plant.
Suppliers may bid for one or both lots. Each lot will be evaluated and awarded in accordance with the evaluation criteria and methodology detailed in the Part One Process Overview document.
The initial contract period is 3 years; the contract is estimated to commence 6 October 2025 and expire 5 October 2028.
There will be an option to extend the contract for 2 years in annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs. Maximum total contract period is Five years

Description of possible extension:

The Councils core product requirements are set out in Part Six Light Plant and Tools Product and Pricing Schedule
It is expected that all core items are kept in stock and available for either collection or delivery.
The supplier will ensure they are able to deliver all items on the Part Six Light Plant and Tools Product and Pricing Schedule to the Councils Northwood Depot (Northwood Depot, Harrison way, Darley Dale, DE4 2LF) or Town Hall, Matlock, DE4 3NN, within 48 hours of receiving a P.O.

Light Plant
The Councils core product requirements are set out in Part Six Light Plant and Tools Product and Pricing Schedule, the equipment includes mowers, hedge cutters, blowers, strimmers, telescopic pole saw, batteries.
It is expected that all core items are kept in stock and available for either collection or delivery.

As part of the tender process, Bidders will be required to provide an export of their core supplier information on the Central Digital Platform (CDP) and unique share code, as allocated by the CDP and include with their bid.
