seven.2) Information about modifications
seven.2.1) Description of the modifications
Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):
This is a merger of Sidcup Medical Centre and Station Road Surgery GP services. The Sidcup Medical Centre contract will be varied with effect from 01 October 2025 to include the Station Road Surgery premises as a branch-site of Sidcup Medical Centre and the current contract holders of Station Road Surgery will be added to the Sidcup Medical Centre PMS contract as contract signatories. Patients will be offered a choice to remain with the merged practice or re-register with another local practice. Those who chose to remain will be transferred over to the Sidcup Medical Centre patient list under their ODS code G83066. The current Station Road Surgery PMS contract will be terminated. The Sidcup Medical Centre contract value will increase as it is driven by registered list size and as a result of the merger there will be a significant increase of patients.
seven.2.2) Reasons for modification
Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire.
Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:
The Contract holders of Sidcup Medical Centre and Station Road Surgery have submitted a proposal to merge their individual PMS contract and consolidate the delivery of primary care medical services under the existing Sidcup Medical Centre contract (G83066). The Station Road Surgery site will become a branch site of Sidcup Medical Centre and patients will be able to attend the Station Road branch or any of the other branch surgeries of Sidcup Medical Centre. The main reason for the merger is to stabilise Station Road Surgery and secure the long-term service provision for its patients.

Updated total contract value before the modifications (taking into account possible earlier contract modifications, price adaptions and average inflation)
Value excluding VAT: £2,938,900.37
