Southwark Council is planning to recommission its adults’ home care services.
As part of the tender exercise, the council is exploring tendering a sub-lot focused specifically on supporting residents with sensory needs.
Providers of this sub-lot would support residents with a congenital or acquired sensory impairment which impacts their communication, mobility, and/or ability to access information, including:
• Deafness and hearing impairment
• Blindness and visual impairment/ sight loss
• Deaf blindness
Southwark Council is keen to hear from any organisations that have experience providing services to this cohort of residents and would be interested in tendering for this sub-lot.
There is a market insight questionnaire, which interested parties are requested to upload, complete and return via the portal not later than 3pm on Friday 3rd January 2025.
