Scope

Description

The Provision of children and Communities Grant tender will provide intervention and prevention, improving outcomes for children, young people and families. Families First, Early Years (Flying Start) and Children's Services will be looking to recommission a number of support services for families across Caerphilly. These will largely be focused on early intervention and prevention, improving outcomes for children, young people and families. The value of this tender will be approx. £1.5million per annum, actual costs will be advertised at the time of tender.

Engagement process description

he Provision of children and Communities Grant tender will provide intervention and prevention, improving outcomes for children, young people and families. Families First, Early Years (Flying Start) and Children's Services will be looking to recommission a number of support services for families across Caerphilly. These will largely be focused on early intervention and prevention, improving outcomes for children, young people and families. The value of this tender will be approx. £1.5million per annum, actual costs will be advertised at the time of tender.

There will be a number of service requirements under the overarching arrangement which shall be lotted. Service Providers will be able to tender for one or more lots. The lot details shall be released on the supplier engagement event and detailed in the contract notice and tender documents.

The Purpose of preliminary market engagement is to advise and engage with the Market prior to going to tender for the provision of Children and Communities Grant Tender to assist and finalise each service specification.

Therefore, the Council is holding a supplier event on Tuesday 29 July 2025 at 14:00 Hours at Ty Penallta, Tredomen Park, Ystrad Mynach, Hengoed CF82 7PG.

To register an interest Service Providers must send their request via email to procurement@caerphilly.gov.uk.

All requests must be received by 15:00 hours Friday 25 July 2025.

This notice is to commence market engagement prior to going to tender to understand services available to the Council.

Please note that this notice is not a contract notice for a call for competition, it is to advise the market of the Councils intension to visit the market for such services. Full details of each service specification(s) shall be issued with the call for competition and fully detailed in the tender documents.

The contract commencement date is 01 April 2026 for a period of three (3) years with the option to extend for up to a further period of two (2) years.
