This prior information notice is not a call for competition. It is being published to give notice to the market of an upcoming procurement anticipated for release in January 2025.
Dorset Council is releasing this Prior Information Notice to indicate the expected launch of a procurement process for the selection of one or more contractors under a Framework Agreement to cover the provision of site investigation, materials testing and geotechnical & geoenvironmental services in the delivery of building and highways construction/maintenance projects.
The services will comprise of a range of soils, construction material and environmental testing, site investigation and sampling, provision of professional technical advice and design services.
The procurement is not proposed to be broken into Lots, however consideration of this may still be given subject to responses to an EOI questionnaire (see Complimentary Information below)
The procurement will be undertaken under the Public Contract Regulations 2015 as an open tender process and will result in the establishment of a Framework Agreement.
The Framework Agreement is also expected to be made available to Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council.
