Scope
Description
Gedling Borough Council requires remedial fire door works at two of its sites, Arnot Hill House and the Civic Centre to ensure compliance with current fire safety regulations. Surveys have identified several areas of non-compliance across both sites, including excessive gaps, non-rated hardware, missing seals, and general deterioration. This specification outlines the scope of works required to bring all fire doors up to the required safety standards. This procurement aims to appoint a qualified contractor to carry out the necessary remedial works to bring the fire doors up to the required safety and regulatory standards.
