The XRD instrument is to be located within Lucideon's Refractory Test Centre, a state-of-the art facility for the ceramics industry located in Stone in Staffordshire. Lucideon is an internationally renowned materials consultancy on behalf of the ceramics industry. This equipment is being purchased within the Economiser 2 programme which is funded by UKRI as part of the activity of the Foundation Industries Sustainability Consortium (FISC) of which Lucideon is a founding board member.

This contract will be awarded using Lucideon's standard terms and conditions of sale, these are included for reference in Annex 1.
It is within the discretion of Lucideon Ltd to extend the deadline for the receipt of tenders, in these circumstances Lucideon will inform all Tenders of the change.
Lucideon Ltd reserves the right to at any time prior to the deadline of the receipt of tenders to amend the tender documents.
Late responses will not be accepted, and it is the responsibility of the company submitting the tender to ensure the response is submitted as specified.
Any costs associated with the submission of the tender are the responsibility of the tenderer and Lucideon Ltd will not be liable for any costs associated to the tender or the participation in the tender process, including where the tender process is amended or terminated or where you decide to withdraw from the tender process either directly or indirectly.
If there is a requirement for a clarification, then this should be submitted in writing (via email) to the email address provided for this tender. The question raised and the response to this question will be provided to you and all other companies tendering. If you believe the question to be confidential then you should advise Lucideon of this when raising the question and provide a suitable justification. If Lucideon feel thequestion is not confidential then the Tenderer shall have the opportunity to withdraw the question. If the question is not withdrawn, then the question and response shall be provided to all tenderers.
Lucideon Ltd reserves the right, where it suspects there has been an error in pricing or calculation to seek clarification where necessary from that tenderer only.
The contract will be awarded based on the tender evaluation and scoring, Lucideon is not obliged to accept the lowest tender and retains the right to withdraw the tender at any time.
