This contract has been awarded under the urgent circumstances provision of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award.

The award has been made under an urgent circumstances as existing providers are suddenly unable to deliver services and new service providers need to be identified. The ICB needed to act rapidly in an unforeseen circumstance not attributable to the authority.

The decision was made by the Primary Medical Services Contracting Panel in line with the ICB's Scheme of Reservation and Delegation. No conflicts of interest were identified.
