Trafford Council is committed to providing a high quality, consistent and integrated Advocacy Hub Service. This service will play an important role in maximising people’s independence, ensuring that the voice of the person is heard and in promoting control by the individual over their care and support and the way in which it is provided. Trafford Council have integrated advocacy services into one single contract using a ‘hub’ model rather than having a number of separate services. This has proved effective and achieved positive outcomes for residents, so Trafford will continue to use this model in the future.
The primary role of the Hub is to meet all statutory and some non-statutory requirements of the council for the provision of independent advocacy
