two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) is seeking proposals from web development agencies to embark on a customer portals digital transformation programme. The first phase is to redesign and rebuild the existing citb.co.uk website, using the latest instance of Umbraco 14 and/or suitable DXP.

The goal is to create a user-first, modern, and accessible website that effectively serves CITB customers. This is CITB's first phase for multiple portals to be migrated to a new platform in the future and therefore the development partnership would be a longer term relationship to support with further developments and maintenance of the website.

CITB is looking for the contract to be awarded for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 x 12 months. Extensions will be subject to review at every 12 months.
