two.2.4) Description of the procurement
Weald of Kent Grammar School is a large sized selective grammar school, with academy status for girls aged 11 – 18 and co-educational sixth form for students aged 16 – 18. The school operates across two campuses located in Tonbridge and Sevenoaks, Kent and boasts state of the art facilities.
The tender project is seeking to appoint a school uniform provider[s] for the provision of service to approximate 600 students at our Sevenoaks campus, 1500 at our Tonbridge campus
The contract being tendered is for three years in duration from July 2025 to 2028.
Current uniform cost:
A copy of the School Uniform Policy is attached for information. Within this is the outline of mandatory items for KS3 and KS4. These have been costed as the prices vary depending on sizing. Additionally, in KS4 year 10/11 students are required to wear a straight skirt, as opposed to the kilt for Yr 7,8 and 9.
