two.2.4) Description of the procurement

MAG is seeking a robust and reliable drone detection system capable of effectively identifying, tracking, and classifying drones operating within and around our airports. We are open to exploring a variety of technologies and solutions that can achieve this, including but not limited to radar, radio frequency detection, and other innovative detection methods.

The system should provide real-time alerts, enable proactive risk mitigation measures, and integrate with existing security infrastructure. It should be able to operate effectively in various weather conditions and environments, with minimal false alarms and disruptions to airport operations. Furthermore, the solution should be capable of detecting a wide range of drone types, not limited to specific manufacturers like DJI.

Additionally, MAG is looking for solutions that offer:

Scalability to accommodate future growth and technological advancements.

User-friendly interface and reporting capabilities.

Integration with existing security and air traffic management systems.

Potential for future expansion to include counter-drone measures.

By participating in this process, suppliers will have the opportunity to showcase their drone detection capabilities and propose solutions that meet MAG's specific requirements. MAG will use the information gathered to inform their procurement strategy and decision-making.
