The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to alert potential suppliers to an opportunity for future services for London Low Carbon Market Snapshot Update

It is a market awareness exercise to share information on a potential procurement, to engage with the market on the scope and approach; and to enable TfL to determine the detailed design of the procurement and commercial process.

The purpose is to test the market's capacity and capability to deliver the requirement, consider if any changes to the requirement would increase market appetite whilst still delivering the capabilities needed, a8nd to generate market interest.

This activity is focusing on the market, rather than the merits of individual suppliers. It includes no element of supplier selection or bid evaluation. There is no commitment of any kind inferred by either party.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The GLA and its partners are planning to baseline and project the growth of London's green economy by updating the existing 16-year dataset with new data for 2023/24, 2024/25, and 2025/26. The GLA and its partners are looking to develop a new approach to provide an insight into the make-up of London's green economy. This work will build on previous analyses, including the kMatrix London Low Carbon and Environmental Goods and Services (LCEGS) analysis and the WPI Economics Green Jobs and Skills report, which focused on 11 priority emerging green economy sectors.

The GLA and its partners are looking to inform the development of the Low Carbon and Environmental Goods and Services Snapshot Update specification and would like to engage willing potential suppliers on a brief questionnaire ahead of the tendering process.

The work will be delivered from March 2025 - January 2027.

This market engagement consists of a short survey which will end on the 1st January 2025. Suppliers wishing to engage with the Authority for this opportunity are invited to register their interest using the information below and are encouraged to do this at their earliest opportunity.
