NHS England would like to determine interest from the Market in respect of a potential Allied Health Professionals Safe Staffing Service through a Request for Information Exercise (RFI).
The service if commissioned will provide the vital research and resource development necessary for all Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) to deliver safe and appropriate care in the settings where they practise.
The commission will comprise of:
Research - A literature review of all resources and studies outlining safe staffing and harm reduction relating to AHPs in their work areas
Discovery phase outlining the quality and safety expectations of AHP workforce in their work areas
Educational resources and guidance for professional use, to deliver safe and effective AHP staffing levels
RFI response are to be completed and returned by 12 noon on the 14th December 2024.
