two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The MOD Medals Office (MODMO) are responsible for the assessment of eligibility and award of Medals and Awards to serving military personnel, veterans, MOD civilians and in some cases to their next of kin. The various items awarded (further details below) are currently procured via a contract with one supplier.
MODMO wishes to undertake Early Market Engagement, with industry, by holding an event on 16 Jan 2025 at Imjin Barracks, Gloucester followed by the sharing of an Industry Questionnaire. The aim of the Earl Market Engagement Event is to provide industry with an overview of the work undertaken by MODMO and the various items they process. The aim of the questionnaire is to determine the level of interest industry has in manufacturing and providing various items to MODMO and industry’s views on how they would wish to see any future requirement presented to the market. Further Market Engagement activities may take place following this Early Market Engagement.

Further instructions on how to take part will be supplied following your request to attend, access to Imjin Barracks is controlled and therefore only those individuals who receive further instructions will be admitted. An additional event may be held online using Microsoft Teams following the physical event and further Market Engagement activities may take place prior to launching any competition.
