1.0 Overview of the Specification

1.1 Swansea Council (the Council) invites tenders for inclusion onto a Framework Agreement of environmental providers to help support the delivery of net zero Swansea by 2050.

1.2 Swansea Council has in place a governance structure to support delivery of such a target, it will lead by example but recognises it cannot achieve this goal alone. The environmental partner will be expected to deliver projects requested from the Climate Change and Nature Steering Group, the Climate Charter Signatories Group/PSB and or regional projects as directed by CJC and others.

1.3 The environmental partner would be expected to work within the key policy themes such as:

- Sustainable Transport

- Nature Recovery

- Energy

- Food Sustainability

- Communication and Engagement across Swansea.

- Carbon reduction
