Description

This procuurement is for the provisdion of overhaul services for Classes 165 and 168 Trip cock valves. The trip cock valves are to be overhualed to a defined specification to improve the reliability of the valves and in turn the fleets to which they are installed. The specification consists of a core scope with a list of mandatory change components and also componenets that are changed on condition following inspection. Depending on the condition of the valves, additional services could be required over and above the core specification.

Whilst the overhaul services are for ad-hoc services, it is expected that output will be circa 40 valves per annum.

  • £990,000 excluding VAT
  • £1,188,000 including VAT

Description of possible extension:

a 12-month extension is permitted within the terms of this contract, subject to the supplier sucessfully meeting the service levels and KPIs as set out in the contract.

Stage 1 - Invitation to Participate (ITP), which includes a procurement specific questionnaire which all bidders are required to complete. Bidders who were successfully shortlisted in Stage 1 were invited to participate in Stage 2.
