two.2.4) Description of the procurement
TfL is seeking to appoint a single supplier for the supply of Escalator Handrails.
This contract will have an initial term of 5 years with an extension option of up to a maximum of 3 years.
This ITT forms part of a competitive procurement to establish and award a single framework agreement for the Supply of Escalator Handrails and is to be conducted in accordance with the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation (CPN) Procedure, under Directive 2014/25/EU (utilities) on the award of public sector contracts, as implemented in the UK by the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016.
TfL requires a contract framework agreement to be put in place for 2024; TfL is conducting a competitive tender for this Framework Agreement for a duration of 5 years with an option to extend for up to a further 3 years.
This procurement is being conducted in accordance with Transport for London's drive to deliver best value whilst meeting its own requirements. At the end of this procurement process, Transport for London may choose to award a single framework agreement. Any framework agreement, which Transport for London awards, will be to the supplier, who submitted the most economically advantageous tender.
