NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (CSU), on behalf of NHS Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board, is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the provision of a Community Adult Hearing Service across Coventry and Warwickshire.

The Commissioner has published this Prior Information Notice to support market engagement only at this stage.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

NHS Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board, is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the provision of a Community Adult Hearing Service across Coventry and Warwickshire. The service is for adults who are patients registered with a Coventry and Warwickshire ICB Place GP aged 55 or over.

The contract duration is expected to be 3 years with up to a 2-year extension option.

ICB intends to award a zero volume, zero value contract to all providers capable that meet an acceptable standard.

The Commissioner has published this Prior Information Notice to support market engagement only at this stage.

We ask all providers to review the service specification and then complete a short questionnaire to share feedback, register their interest, and/or confirm their intention to attend a virtual Market Engagement Event scheduled for 10:00 - 11:15am on Monday 21st July 2025.

Providers who attend the event will also be invited to schedule one-to-one meetings with the Commissioner to discuss the financial model, service model, and procurement strategy in more detail. These 30-minute sessions will take place on the afternoon of 21st July and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note that this notice does not bind either AGEM CSU or Coventry and Warwickshire ICB to any act, including but not limited to carrying out a procurement for the services described in this notice or in any accompanying documentation which may be made available to the market at this time. In the event that a procurement process is pursued following this notice, providers should note that it will be carried out under the requirements of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. Furthermore, the requirements of the Procurement Act 2023, save for those requirements detailed in regulation 28 of the Procurement Act 2023 (Consequential and Other Amendments) Regulations 2025, do not apply.
