This research will provide us with vital intelligence on learners' transition to employment

and enable development of strategies for smoother transitions and effective use of CITB and public funds (ESFA), improving sustainable employment for trainees, and meeting the UK's construction needs.

The data produced will be used by the Industry Analysis and Forecasting team to support the development of several other work-streams that are essential to the organisation and the research programme.

Results from the research will be crucial in helping CITB to improve supply-side data about the industry and will help CITB to work with the industry to address future skills issues early.
