As stated in FTS-013617, the Trust had intended to utilise the Most Suitable Provider Process under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 (“PSR”) for this opportunity. This is a PSR notice that this provider selection process has been abandoned and a contract has not been awarded. This process has been abandoned under the PSR. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply. During the next six (6) months, the Trust intends to carry out some soft market engagement with the market in order to inform a re-procurement of the service. The Trust has the right to extend its current contract for two (2) years. The Trust will exercise its right to extend the current contract by up to two (2) years, during which time, the Trust will carry out a re-procurement.
