two.2.4) Description of the procurement
The English and School Education EdTech Hub manages a global Learning Management System (LMS), which is used to deliver to programmatic activity in regions and countries globally. ESE is seeking an LMS that is tailored for three specific types of user engagement: 1. Massive Open Online Course (MOOC): This is open Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for individual teachers. The audience are teachers of English globally, currently over 120,000 accounts, up to 6,500 active users per month. This is part of our English Connects global programme. 2. Small Private Online Course (SPOC): This is Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for closed groups of teachers participating in local or regional projects across the network. The audience are teachers of English in countries or regions, currently up to 3,000 active users per month. This is part of our School Systems global programme (formerly English in Education). 3. Community of Practice (CoP): These are sustainable online communities of practice. The audience are teachers of English in the Wider Europe region, currently up to 5,000 accounts. This is part of our School Systems and Empowerment global programmes.
