The successful contractors will be required to provide project support that meet the requirements of the specification from the contract commencement, across the following Lots:

Tender submissions are invited for one, multiple, or all of the four Lots. Bidders may submit proposals for individual Lots or a combination thereof; however, each Lot will be evaluated independently.
Lot 5. Ecology Consultant
Description
Proposed Services - Ecology Consultant services on behalf of Weston College
Weston College is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified ecologist consultant for a project to relocate the CTC to a greenfield site at Hewish.
Services required during the period of consultancy will include, but not limited to, the following:
To agree a fee scale against an agreed scope of services. Note - the costs/scale of fees set out in the live project included in the tender submission, shall be used as a template for agreeing future fees.
Conduct a Preliminary Ecological Appraisal for the proposed CTC site and the adjacent land parcel.
For each project opportunity, to agree the client brief and work with the Capital Works SCWPM (CWPM) and the wider design team to identify key milestones and costs.
Provide the Preliminary Ecological appraisal.
Carry out the Biodiversity Net Gain assessment [pre planning for ECIA]
Providing services as the client-side ecologist services for a capital scheme (above an agreed threshold of £200,000) at Weston College
Assisting with the preparation of reports; assessments and tender documents.
Meeting regularly with college senior managers.
Providing guest lecturing/speaking slots (allow for 1 x 2 hr slots per year) related to the FE/HE built environment curriculum.

Lot 6. Topography
Description
Proposed services - Topography Services on behalf of Weston College
Weston College is seeking to appoint a suitably topography specialist sub-contractor.
Services required will include, but not limited to, the following:
To agree a quote against an agreed scope of services.
Assisting with the preparation of reports; assessments and tender documents.
Meeting with technical design team.
Project Introduction

Spot levels taken at 3m spacing - Contours drawn at suitable intervals depending on gradient of site

Lot 7. Ground Investigation
Description
Proposed Services - Ground investigation services on behalf of Weston College Group
Weston College is seeking to appoint a suitably ground investigation specialist sub-contractor.
Project Introduction
A quotation is required to carry out specialist ground investigation works at land is adjacent to Stable View Caravan Site [A370, Hewish, Weston-super-Mare BS24 6RD. The works shall include both two plots marked on the plan [Location of the proposed site in Hewish.doc]
The land parcels plus can be located on the attached hyperlink Google Maps. This site is currently undeveloped greenfield land that is mostly laid to open pasture.

Carry out a full ground investigation survey of the land parcel
Allow for 10 number; 30m long; 150mm cable percussion boreholes in locations to be agreed with the structural & civil engineering consultant.
Allow for insitu standard penetration tests
Allow for U100 samples if the soli [strata permitting].
Record and monitor the levels of ground water in the boreholes
Set up and monitor and report ground gases levels over a period of 2 weeks.
Allow for a Waste Acceptance Criteria Test [in 4 areas around the proposed building location[s]]

Provide written report of all the findings.
Provide a dimensioned plan setting out the location of all the borehole samples
