This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is issued by Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust to alert the market to their tender for a contract for Camden MOSAIC to commission an independent provider to undertake Neurodevelopmental disorder (NDD) assessments for Children currently on the service’s waiting list.

This procurement will be under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 - Competitive Process. Please note that this PIN does not represent a formal stage in the procurement process and will play no part in any subsequent evaluation process.

two.2.4) Description of the procurement

This is a Prior Information Notice to inform providers of the intention to publish a tender for Neurodevelopment Disorder (NDD) Assessments backlog clearance for children aged 0-19 living in Camden.

North Central London ICB have awarded CNWL an additional investment for 24/25 following a Mental Health Services Review (MHSR). The funding total is £237,132 and has been specifically allocated to support with backlog clearance in Neurodevelopmental disorder (NDD) assessment for Children and Young People in Camden MOSAIC, with £75,937 allocated to assess children under 5 (MOSAIC CDT) and £161,195 to assess children over 5 (MOSAIC SCAS). This funding will be used by Camden MOSAIC to commission an independent provider to undertake at least 153 assessments to help clear the backlog of children waiting for assessment, with the funding to be spent by the 31st March 2025. Full details of the Authority's requirements will be made available at the time of publishing the Contract Notice and the Invitation to Tender.

Please note we are currently only raising awareness of the future opportunity to bid. Due to the need to spend the funding before the end of the financial year, the tender is due to be published at the end of November with responses required prior to the end of December.

The purpose of this notice is to alert interested parties to the intention of the Authority to publish a tender for the services identified.
Full tender information and documentation will be provided on the issue of the Invitation to Tender anticipated towards the end of November 2024.
The contract to be awarded will commence mid-February 2025 (exact contract terms will be available with tender documentation).
The Invitation to Tender will be open to all suitably qualified providers.
This notice is voluntary and does not mean that the Authority accepts that the Regulations apply to this intended procurement to any greater extent simply by virtue of the publication of the notice or utilisation of a particular procurement process.
