two.2.4) Description of the procurement

The contract is for the provision of GP Spirometry Services. The provider will be responsible for delivering assessment for diagnostics, therapy/ interventions & monitoring of respiratory conditions with the aim to increase activity and reduce wait list numbers and waiting times for patients.

The Authorities intention to to award the contract under the "Most Suitable Provider" Process under the Provider Selection Regime.

The term of the contract shall run from 21st January 2025 to 31st March 2025.
The anticipated maximum value of the contract is £100,000.

six.3) Additional information

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to approach notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the Avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of expressions of interest to be considered for the "most suitable provider". Assessment against the key criteria will occur and period of standstill will apply following an intention to award notice. This contract has not yet formally been awarded, this notice services as an intention to approach under the PSR.
