two.2.4) Description of the procurement

This tender process is for the provision of chemical dosing rigs and storage tanks, covering the entire area of the Utilities regions. A summary of the scope and critical activities forming part of this tender is stated below. However, please review the full technical specification to examine the scope in full detail.

Lot 1 - Assembly & Installation of Chemical Dosing Rig

This Lot would include the procurement of tanks from the successful suppliers awarded under Lot 3.

The chemical dosing rigs would be built to a Severn Trent design, a Design Adoption phase will be included in the contract mobilisation period.

Currently the Rig Arrangement is only applicable for use on Wastewater Treatment Sites, specifically dosing Ferric or Alkalinity.

Waste Rig Arrangement:

9ft Skid for 2 Pump Arrangement or 15ft Skid for 4 Pump Arrangement (For where we require 6 pumps, we shall use a 15ft Skid arrangement and 9ft skid arrangement and then for 8 pumps we shall have two of the 15ft skid 4 pump arrangements)

Chemical delivery/Chemical Dosing, POA cabinets and Fill Point Cabinets supplied by ChemResist. (Chemiguard one and two door cabinets) or equivalent.

Dosing Pump (There will be Two Pump Variations) - We have specified pump manufacturers in the BOMs but welcome equivalent.

Electrical Control Panel - from mandated framework with supplied design. Whilst the control panel provided is for a 2-pump arrangement, we expect the panel to be updated to reflect the quantity of pumps required for each skid.

Tanks - Part of Lot 3 and those from Lot 1 and 2 would need to procure using this mandated framework.
